Iraq 10:58 AM Over the past two years we all have read about and heard about the War in Iraq. For me, I haven’t known anyone closely who is or has been over there. My dad’s former co-worker’s son was shot there. He is OK now and ready to go back. A kid younger than me that graduated from my high school was killed there. That is as close as I’ve felt it. I haven’t had a brother or sister, or cousin, or best friend fighting for us over there. And because of that, I think may have grown desensitized to the news. Big Screen 11:06 PM It’s Friday night. The weekend is upon us and that makes everyone relax a bit. I just got back from seeing the movie Ray with my parents. This is the story about Ray Charles’ life. You need to go see it. It’s about a real guy doing amazing things. Jamie Foxx is amazing, the music is jumping, and the story captivates you.
