It’s funny I wrote about kids a few days ago. Yesterday my door bell rang and standing there was a one of my boys from high school days. In his arms was his beautiful four month old daughter. She must have thought I was funny looking because every time she looked at me she smiled or laughed. This of course put me into a trance.

He also told me another one of our guys’ wife had a baby boy last week. It is amazing to see your friends and their kids.

It’s been a busy week for me. I started doing some management consulting work with a company outside of Rochester. That puts me on site for a day a week, but more so it gets my brain chugging with lots of ideas in regards to business motivation. The focus is on the managers’ communication, goal setting and completing, and overall, the culture of their company. I love it.

Yesterday was my dad’s birthday. He is lucky enough to have the longest day of the year as his day. The family got together and ate way too much lasagna and then chocolate cake. It’s nice to be in town for these occasions.

I am also glad to report that next week I will be ready to share my book website with the world. It looks tight and is packed with a lot of inspiring information. I continue to marvel at the technological talent people have. I have a vision and the web creators make it happen. Chuck (book) and Bobby (IamOntheRoad) have been amazing.

This weekend is also the bachelor party for one of my friends who I’ve known since I was like 7 years old. Life moves fast so it will be great to catch up with a lot of people I don’t get to see too often. He is getting married in a few weeks and Saturday is a day on the water. He and his brother have a cottage on Sodus Bay. I think I wrote about it a year or two ago. It is a house you can’t drive to. They live on an island. At some point in my life, I will write one of my books out there.

Life moves fast. Call/email someone you haven’t talked to in a long time. Enjoy the weekend.
