I have not had any big revelations, other than more outside people telling me to go for it and finish the book. I have a sinus infection. I was basically forced to go to the doctor yesterday by my mom. I wouldn’t have gone, except I didn’t want to contaminate the little ones in Memphis. He gave me some antibiotic and I’m feeling a little better.

I went and saw Napoleon Dynamite last night at the dollar theater. You can’t beat seeing a movie in the theater for literally one dollar. That is awesome. The movie is different, but funny. It’s about this outcast in high school and his life. If you see it, look out for Uncle Rico. I got home at about 9 and said hello to my parents friends who were here doing the Purpose Driven Life. This is a book about life that is faith based. They are very into it and it sounds interesting. I was given a copy by my family in Harrisburg. At about 10 the house was clear. I had taken out amores perros from the library and settled in. It is a foreign film which means subtitles, but it was excellent. I think it may be the same guy who did Motorcycle Diaries. It’s too long of an explanation of what the movie is about, but basically it is about things that happen to 3 main people and how they all intertwine. Maybe like a 21 Grams kind of thing. Highly recommend it.

I have some laundry in and will be getting ready to head out to Memphis with my parents for the week. I can’t wait to see my brother and my sister in law, but the anticipation is greater for my two nieces. It will be incredible to see their evolution since July. I may try to hit Graceland as well. I used to live in Memphis, but I’ve never been. This whole thing is about experiences, so I think I need to do it. We’ll see if there is time. As my friend Paul Simon said, “I’m going to Graceland, Graceland, Memphis, TN.”

Time to tie up some loose ends, drop off the videos at the library, and pack. Enjoy the day.
