Wilmington, NC

1:04 PM

I’m in Kinko’s in Wilmington. I just spent an agonizing 40 minutes with Microsoft’s help desk. I needed to activate my copy of Windows. After doing it 5 times and it not taking any of them, I called. We got it resolved though. That was weighing on me. If I hadn’t resolved it by tomorrow, my Windows would not be useable.

I’m a bit foggy today. Kyle and I arrived to Wilmington at about 6 yesterday. We came over to Kinko’s to try and resolve my CPU issue, but it didn’t work. We made our way to Morgan’s in between her classes. She had a test that ran until 9. Kyle and I vegged out and he did a load of wash.

We then all hit downtown Wilmington. I was a bit leery at first. I had old man’s syndrome, thinking me at 29 wouldn’t fit out here. It wasn’t as bad as I thought. I pictured young college kids running around hooting and hollering all over the place. It was laid back and fun. We played some pool, saw some dueling pianos, and just had a good time being together.

Morgan and I ended up staying up until 5 talking and eating one of the best sandwiches I ever had, a turkey and cheese melted on the George Foreman. I woke up late today and came over here. I added a couple of pics from Charleston today. I still haven’t added my baby and their family pics. I want to get the OK first.

And that’s it. Kyle and I are deciding when to hit the 14 hours north back to Rochester. I can’t say I’m looking forward to that drive.

Back to the rain and get Kyle and Morgan around for lunch. They were still crashed when I left this morning. Enjoy the day.
