It turns out the kid was allegedly drinking. What is a high school senior doing out at 1:15 AM on a Tuesday night? I used to run around and do things I wasn’t supposed to, but on a Tuesday night I was home.
The house he ran into had to be demolished. It was not safe structurally. The poor family was not allowed to go in and get their belongings. They had to stand outside and watch a big crane tear the house and all of their things inside it down. Awful.
The neighborhood is coming together and raising money for the family. But no amount of money can replace pictures. Sad stuff.
