Destiny

I知 sitting on the deck of Destiny. The setting sun is reflecting off of the water. It hits me in the face as it passes by the US flag. Uncle Bill just left to go to the yacht club meeting. He is the purser/financial guy. Aunt Mary and Sean are at the movies. I am alone! Unless you count Toto, their dog. He痴 sleeping at my feet.
We finally had a beautiful day. It痴 been a while since I致e seen the sun. We went ashore to shower. Then it was off to lunch at another club. I had a good chicken sandwich. They had chicken salad that looked pretty good. Sean had pizza.
We then went and dropped off my car to where we値l be docking tomorrow. There is a sandy beach by them and I think we値l be going. Late afternoon I値l leave for Maine. Hopefully the sun will shine some more.
Wait until you see the sunset pictures I知 about to get. Killer.
I may be a bit buzzed. Uncle Bill made me a few light vodka痴 with half and half. Not creamer, but like Sprite. I cannot tell you how awesome it is to be sitting on this sailboat, with no one else here. Boats are all around me but I知 in my own world. There is a lot on the mind with old job, a new source for cash, publishing, writing and all of that. But I don稚 care about much right now. I am in the moment.
I値l turn this off and make a few phone calls. I値l wait for the meeting to draw closer and then head onto shore. Aunt Mary will be back and the meeting will end and I知 sure I値l meet some of the folks. It痴 still weird to be introduced as 鄭ndrew, he痴 traveling� I then have to explain what I知 doing. It痴 good though.
Toto is trying to jump off the side. I guess I go. Sunset awaits.
