The man above has blessed my sports this year. I took part in the most amazing spectator experience of my life, walking 4 days for every shot with Shaun Micheel and his wife during the PGA Championship. I was able to see the Red Sox in Fenway go on to win it all. And now I’ve been able to see the 2005 NCAA Champions North Carolina Tar Heels. Almost a year ago I was in Chapel Hill interviewing the 30 year veteran radio announcer of the basketball and football team. I walked in to the basketball office and was greeted by Raymond Felton and Melvin Scott. I went out on the Dean Dome floor. Last week I was 9 rows back of the bench for the Sweet 16 and Elite 8.

What a year it has been. Tonight was special. I’ve been a Heels fan since I was a boy. They’ve always had talent, but this year the talent came together. It was nerve racking at the end. Anytime you lead at the start and the other team comes back, it is scary. Momentum is for the other guys. But the boys kept it together and came out on top. Congrats to all of the people involved. Congrats to my bracket too. Cha Ching.

If there are any teams or people looking to win a championship, it might be wise to send me and my crew out for a game or two. It seems like we have the luck.
