Key West, FL
Time is short. They are closing the doors on the internet cafe. I am sitting in Key West, FL. I made the 6 hour drive form Estero this morning. What a view going over all of the bridges and seeing the blue water.
I went into Sloppy Joe’s, a local hangout for the last 70 years. I was looking for a bartender friends know, but she’s gone for the next two days. I walked all over the place and finally made it to the hostel I am staying at.
I paid and checked out the room. Not bad, sharing with li8ke 8 others. I ran into Charles, a guy from England traveling the US in between chasing storms. He and I decided since we were traveling alone to go see the sites together. We went down to Duvall St. and saw the Sunset Celebration. What a beautiful site. I took some great pics.
We then went for a Cuban meal. Charles tried a lot of firsts: squid and all sorts of Cuban food. We are now walking the streets. Time to run.
