The days keep churning and here we are in 2007. It is always strange when the year changes, but I’m looking forward to this one with an incredible amount of anticipation. I see a lot of the things I’ve been working on taking shape and coming to fruition. And it is energizing.
After watching The Pursuit of Happyness a couple of days ago, the power of passion, persistence, and determination will propel us to do amazing things. Chris Gardner’s (Will Smith) story is powerful and it shows that if this man can overcome, battle, and fight to make his vision become reality, we can do the same thing ourselves.
And after seeing the real Chris Gardner on a few interviews over the past weeks, I think his message is that if we want something to happen, we have to believe it can, and then we have to make it happen.
So whatever was on your mind last night at 12:00 AM and whatever is on your mind today, keep it on your mind, determine a plan, and make it happen.
