Rochester, NY

w has reached NY in full force. All I can see is the white stuff. It’s pretty to look at from here, but not so pretty when I bundle up to go outside, brush off my cold car, scrape the ice off, and then get in and try and warm up.

I ventured out this weekend for the start of my Christmas shopping. I timed it out to be at the mall when most people weren’t and found myself there at 10:30 PM on Friday. Progress was made. As much as I don’t like the mall, I don’t seem to mind shopping for people all that much.

Saturday was the gym, UNC basketball, and then a turkey dinner party downtown. I brought the green bean casserole. Everybody brought a dish and I was taken back to a few weeks ago, stuffed and ready for a nap.

Sunday was NFL and couch time and stay away from the computer day. I have been cranking out chapters left and right, but I needed a break. My brain fried on me Thursday night, after 12 hours in front of the CPU. I got all blurry eyed and disoriented. Weird.

Now it is back to the transcribing, typing, and piecing together.

Be on the lookout for some website changes in the coming weeks. I spoke to the web master Friday and we are looking to incorporate some new, more interactive ideas. Should be cool.
