Palm Beach, FL
I learned last night that I’m not cut out for the late night party scene. I got home and to bed at 7 AM. No more of that. I guess some people live for it and can do it. I guess I am somewhat programmed for the up early and in bed not too late.
I hung out in downtown Fort Lauderdale at the penthouse of an apartment complex. The balcony set you right above the intracoastal. I met some new people, didn’t carry on too much conversation with anyone though. We came late and most of the people had left. Me and the boys were disappointed in the fact that the female contingent was small and all taken. Our eyes perked up at one point. I was out on the balcony. 3 blonde pretty’s came in. Looking up. I looked away for a second, I can’t be staring, and the next look they’re already out the door. Geez.
It was a long night of trying to find a ride back to Mark’s. I was frustrated by this. Frustrated enough that I wanted to drive back to Palm Beach to sleep in “my” bed. It was a late night.
Today is a day for laundry and some errands. Time to get a new cell phone and a new medical insurance policy. I’ve been playing a game of chance for the last 6 days, walking around with no policy. Time to get on that. Verizon is giving me a $100 credit for being a customer for 3 plus years. Time to get a new tele.
Later.
