Welcome. Bring it on. Here we go. It’s 2006 and now is the time to get cracking on big plans and resolutions. It’s hard to believe another year has whizzed by us. I think back on ’05 with a lot of great memories. I turned 30. I made many new friends. I kept in touch with my old friends from all over. I stayed in decent shape. I was healthy. I almost finished a book. There are a lot of positives to focus on. I’m sure there are negatives too, but you focus on the positive and build on them and leave the negative in the past, which is now what 2005 is.

The feeling of anticipation for what awaits in 2006 pulls at me. My sister is getting married. 3 other groups of friends are tying the knot. So much will happen this year and I’m sure there is good and bad, but I’m ready.

They tell me you can help shape your future and I believe it to be true. You don’t control it, but your mind and your actions can dictate what happens. If there is something in your mind and heart on this day of focus and thinking, go for it. If something has been eating at you, now is the time to put together a plan of action.

My plan is to build upon last year. Last night went exactly as I wanted it too. The family fondue tradition lived on and I ate way too much beef. From there I met up with good friends and rang in the year with laughs, smiles, hugs and kisses. I stayed up too late but don’t feel it now. I shut the CPU down to shower and catch my flight to Phoenix. Look for me tomorrow at the Fiesta Bowl. Enjoy your day. It’s on you to make 2006 a great one.
